Manage technical activities for Home division, lead the product standard compliance agenda and educate the whole team for effective costing & product development.
Review and implement all applicable quality standards, inspection & testing protocols required by Clients & US regulations.
Guide designers for quality & product construction, KD solution. Manage selected suppliers to construct samples to agreed construction and finish requirements.
Monitor sampling process, review samples and train QC to ensure full compliance
Take charge of product quality review & train QC. Conduct Pre-Production Meeting (PPM)
Technically evaluate & select appropriate factories to meet client design, quality, cost, lead time requirements, production capacity.
Resolve technical issues inside clients and select factories in a timely manner.
Share good practices to help the factory be more efficient
Work closely with factories and merchandisers from Sketch, CAD, and sample to Final Production Products.
Participate in customers’ sourcing/ product development trips/meeting.
Perform other assignments by Line Manager.
Job Requirement
Bachelor degree of Engineering
Knowledge in furniture products & quality standards US/EU
Minimum of 5 years of furniture & accessories QA & manufacturing experience
3 years of experience in management in technical and product development or product engineering
