Production Manager

Job description

Lead and organize the production line, including workforce, materials, and equipment, to meet daily production targets.
Ensure the smooth and effective operation of production activities.
Monitor and closely follow the planning schedule to meet target requirements.
Identify opportunities for improving production yield and optimizing processes.
Maintain high efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness in a safe production environment.
Implement cost-effective measures in production operations.
Manage all aspects of production, including quality, efficiency, cost, manpower, overtime, and on-time delivery.
Ensure timely production and maintain product quality standards.
Continuously improve processes by reducing and controlling process variations.
Effectively utilize and monitor facility, machinery, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance plans are in place.
Provide training and development opportunities to employees, including coaching and knowledge sharing within the team.
Establish and maintain a documentation management system that provides accurate, timely, and reliable information.
Responsible for ensuring the safety of production operations, supported by the safety team.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the production area according to company policies and the 5S program.

Bachelor in Mechanical, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Chemical, etc.
At least 5-year experience in manufacturing management roles in manufacturing companies is required.
Planning and organization skills with strong communication skills to lead the team.
Ability to act decisively and solve production or staff related problems.
Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
Good command of English.
Willing to relocate in Quang Ngai.
