Lead and manage the entire product development process, ensuring products move smoothly from concept to completion;
Facilitate and lead product review meetings at each development stage, providing clear direction and feedback;
Oversee category forecasts and ensure production aligns with projected sales;
Manage garment lead times, optimizing production efficiency;
Effectively allocate manpower resources within the development department;
Implement coaching and development programs to cultivate a skilled team.
Job Requirement
University degree in Textile Technology or a related field;
Fluency in Chinese and Vietnamese, with English proficiency a strong advantage;
Minimum 5 years of experience in Apparel Product Development across various product types, with a proven track record in leading and managing teams within an apparel factory environment;
Demonstrated expertise in sportswear development, fit, and construction, with a commitment to upholding brand and quality standards;
Strong understanding of technical aspects including maker efficiency, pattern design, garment construction, and nesting techniques for engineered materials and graphics;
Working knowledge of 3D digital sampling software (V-Stitcher and/or CLO);
Basic understanding of quality control for textile fabrics and accessories;
Experience in managing material purchasing processes and creating inventory analysis reports;
In-depth knowledge of product costing concepts (FOB, cost matrix), costing margin analysis, and material consumption calculations;
Familiarity with Garment Size Development (GSD) or Standard Allowance Minute (SAM) concepts;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator;
Familiarity with data analysis tools like Tableau or Power BI (a plus).
