Planning & Inventory Control Supervisor

Job description

Supervise capacity planning, scheduling, warehousing, shipping, receiving functions;
Coordinate with the HQs in US on capacity planning and demand fulfillment;
Supervise employees in a manufacturing environment and ensure effective employee relations;
Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
Manage departmental performance measures including continuous improvement tools and provide regular progress reports to manager.
Work with other departments to improve company policies and procedures.
Provide employee coaching and development;
Coordinate activities between material control and planning departments;
Can understand and query information in the Mapics environment, thorough understanding of Resonance, MRP and Mapics;
Assist Dept. Managers in improving overall systems and procedures;
Responsible for retention, performance review, discipline, and hiring.

Bachelor degree, APICS Certified is preferred;
Fluent English – Written and Spoken;
At least 8 years’ experience in APICS Certified preferred related field, 2 years at supervision or managerial position;
Have knowledge of Product and Process, Inventory Management, Project Management,
Understand of load, capacity, and bottlenecks in the production environment;
Team player with demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others;
Planning: ability to think ahead and prepare action plan to achieve results at a macro level;
Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills;
Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations;
Problem analysis and resolution, quality orientation and attention to detail;
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and performance management.
