Farm Operations Manager

Job description

Manage day to day activities in the hatchery;
Develop land-based hatchery infrastructure for the production of quality fingerlings and juveniles in the country;
Manage investments and operating budgets across the country;
Develop and implement quality management systems;
Supervise, coordinate and ensure the operations runs smoothly;
Identify production and quality performance issues and opportunities for improvement and provide technical solutions when needed;
Participate in the organization development including recruitment, training and other initiatives.

Bachelor/ Master’s degree in a relevant field with 5-10 years’ working experience from similar value chains (fish, shrimp, poultry, etc.);
Thorough understanding and experience at managing fish/shrimp hatcheries including infrastructure, biology, economics and people management;
Good command in English;
Excellent planning and organizational skills;
Strong problem-solving, data analysis and interpretation skills;
Willing to go on business trips within the country.
